Summer Flowers and Garden
When we first started posting to this, the intention was to only cataloge the Dahlia's, Lillies and Zinnias... Having over a 1000 of those over the course of the summer we've just been putting up some of the other rarer ones from our garden to keep track. The best long list comes next, all raised here in our garden and then cataloged, these are all the different flavors and colors we came up with...
Late Summer/Fall flowers, misc...
This september and october have been so warm that many plants have been able to have an entire 2nd full cycle. Sunflowers, Cosmos, Calendula's are still blooming here the last day of October.
Japanese Snow drops/Anemone
Japanese anemone "snow drops" belong to the buttercup family "Ranunculaceae. A native plant from Asia, In Chinese it is called the "broken bowl flower. Even though they are native to Asia, in the eastern himalaya region, they have spread to alomst all points on earth that have a climate that they can survive.
Summer Pansy
These garden pansy are a hybrid plant that was cultivated as a garden flower. It is derived by hybridization from several species.
